How the Golden State Warriors Mastered the Last-Minute Sellout
This week, we take a look at how the Golden State Warriors were able to build and launch last-minute Offers with FEVO that helped them sell out home games throughout the season.
The Challenge
The seven-time NBA Champion Golden State Warriors have had an unprecedented run of success over the past decade thanks to generational players, great team chemistry and savvy front office moves. That level of on-court success unsurprisingly translates to high ticket sales: the Warriors had a 100% sellout record at Chase Center this past season, doing their part to help the NBA set an all-time attendance record. Despite sustained high demand, the Warriors wanted to commit to providing tickets at below-market rates to ensure all members of Dub Nation had a chance to experience the thrill of Warriors basketball at Chase Center. Enter FEVO to help execute the program.
The Solution
Through FEVO, the Warriors launched Dub Nation Deals, a program designed to provide access to $25, non-transferable tickets for select games. The Warriors used FEVO to register fans to the program and then send those fans offers via text message. It was a bona fide win-win: fans got incredible deals, and the Warriors were able to provide a platform for all fans to have an opportunity to attend a game at below-market rates.
